Coffee is one of life’s little pleasures. When everything is getting too much, you can make a cup of coffee and relax into the steam.
Hi, I am Dana Dupree and an avid coffee lover. I have been hooked since I began college and realized what a heavy load writing majors took on.
I am a pretty happy person, but be warned, in the morning, don’t talk to me until I’ve had my coffee!
Even after graduating, I began a job as an intern for a publishing house, which was long hours and infrequent breaks, so coffee gave me the energy to keep moving.
My job took me all over the US on book tours and press conferences, and my favorite part about the trip was exploring the best places to grab my cup of Joe.
I listed all of the best coffee shops down from each area I visited, and now I want to share them on the internet so that you never have to suffer through a bad cup of coffee again.
It’s been a few years since I worked under anyone (I am now a full-time writer), but coffee shops still bring me joy like nothing else. I often find a nice coffee shop with good internet for writing.
Nothing is better than heading to a new coffee shop and trying its menu to clear your mind and force yourself to take a break.
I work alone in my apartment for much of the time, so I have added various items of coffee-making equipment to my kitchen to keep me topped up with caffeine while I work.
After getting out of bed, I usually start the day using my trusty stainless steel French Press as I can boil some water, add it to the coffee grounds, and drink a strong black coffee within minutes.
Two friends each bought me a coffee machine as Christmas gifts, so I now have a Nespresso and a Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine. I will review them after I have used them for a month or two.
